Far Infrared Body Wrap Spa

What Is It?

Let's discuss just what a body wrap is and what it's suppose to do for you...

The purpose of the body wrap is to apply deep far infrared heat to targeted areas of the body in order to get your blood circulating underneath hardened accumulated fat tissue. This process will actually expend energy such as that generated in sustained exercise.

It boost your metabolism and stimulates lipolytic enzyme activity which your body needs in order to eliminate toxins and stored fat through your waste.

How Does It Work?

When we accumulate body fat, most commonly in men, it is from the waist upward; in women it's from the waist down.

Body fat begins in a liquid form and as such, is easy enough to get rid of.  However, as we age, our metabolic rate begins to naturally slow down which means we can not burn excess body fat.  In addition, very little heat is being circulated to those areas of the body and the fat begin to solidify and gets trapped between layers of our skin, muscles and organs.  It goes from subcutaneous fat into cellulite.  Subcutaneous fat being soft, is easy to lose unlike cellulite which is like hard muscle from lack of blood circulation.

Our body wraps help to bring the blood flow back into the areas that have had restricted blood flow which then increases your metabolic rate and makes it easier for you to burn fat and then to eliminate it through your sweat glands and waste.

Why Far InfraRed?

Clay, mud and seaweed wraps simply can't achieve the same results as Far InfraRed body wraps.

The reason being, those 'bandages' are heated in a pot and once they're removed they quickly decrease in temperature.  Time is then spent wrapping the client while the bandages continue to decrease in temperature.

Once the client is wrapped, the temperature has dropped so low that there is only about 10 minutes of effectiveness.  The heat dissipates and becomes virtually inadequate.

This type of wrap and saunas warm the body from the outside in, which makes the body release sweat within minutes.  The body's natural function is to keep cool causing the body to merely perspire.  Therefore, any reduction in weight is generally temporary and just from water that has been perspired.

Understand that we are not saying that other methods do not work...the claim is that they are just not as effective.

InfraRed works the opposite in that it starts as cool and continues to get warmer as you're being wrapped and generally takes about 15 minutes to penetrate the body and goes directly to the bone, heating the body from the inside out.  You will also perspire with InfraRed but usually not until the last 15 minutes or so of your 1 hour session as the heat slowly rises out to your outer surface.

InfraRed Body Wraps have come to be known as a treatment with many healing benefits and have been used for many years in hospitals, chiropractic centers and by sports therapists.

Over the past 26+ years, the focus has been to improve and develope a high quality, aesthetically pleasing treatment system capable of safe and reliable operation in a spa/salon environment.
